Dan Marinucci
Dan is the driving force behind Communiqué, an automotive training and communications company that, as its name suggests, delivers vital information.

Dan is known for communicating timely, practical knowledge to both service and sales
professionals in the auto repair industry.

Whether writing for a trade journal or presenting a seminar to technicians, Dan crafts clear, concise messages by blending his straightforward communication style with his background as an ASE-certified technician.

Utilizing his degree in journalism from Penn State, Dan began covering the auto service industry in 1976. For the last 18 years, he has written Motor Magazine's monthly import repair column, Foreign Service, as well as major tech features. Readers of Tire Business also have enjoyed his twice-monthly opinion column, Automotive Service, for 18 years.

Dan also earned a degree from the School of Hard Knocks by selling automotive diagnostic equipment for three years. Dan specializes in electrical diagnosis and evaporative emission system testing as well as Japanese vehicle driveability. He has presented tech seminars since 1993. Dan has traveled to 38 states and many cities across Canada to teach his classes.

Dan will be presenting the following classes during the 2008 Conference

HONDA DRIVEABILITY DIAGNOSIS:

Sure, Honda EFI looks nice and simple - until it stings you with strange symptoms and self-diagnostics that don't always give you the answers you need. Dan's class provides street-smart solutions for horrific Honda headaches. Hondas are usually easy to fix once you know where to look and what to test first.

TOYOTA DRIVEABILITY DIAGNOSIS:

For an untrained tech, Toyota EFI testing may become treacherous territory due to the variety of self-diagnostic and air/fuel control systems it uses. After Dan's seminar, you'll zip through Toyota troubleshooting like top techs do. Included are quick checks for nuisance no-code troubles and nagging no-starts.
